Nowadays, the scientific and technological development has facilitated the manufacturing and launching of a variety of electrical devices that has been significantly increasing the living standard of human being.

However, the operation of these devices is always proportional to the amount of energy consumption as well as the cost for maintenance, repair or replacement. In reality, organizations, individuals and household must consider the above factors before a decision on buying or installing those electrical equipments is made.

Therefore, there is always social demand for new technology solutions to improve the design and manufacturing of electrical equipments to save energy, increase efficiency and extend lifespan of the equipments that creates sustainable value for consumers.

Dr. Tran Van Tin, a passionate scientist in research and innovation, especially in the area of energy saving devices, has successfully researched and created a new energy efficient bulb – Binh Minh power-saving LED light bulbs, with reasonable prices that is suitable for Vietnamese consumers.

Since 2008, together with a team of young officers and disabled young people received from all provinces in the country by the author, ICEVN JSC was officially established and focused on the mass manufacturing of Binh Minh Led light bulb with the production process under Quality management system ISO 9001: 2008.

Binh Minh Led light bulbs are manufactured with high quality certified by Criminal scientific institute - Police department as “it limits adverse impacts on human eyes since continuous light do not flicker at the frequency of alternating current”. With the same area of lighting, LED light bulbs can save up to 70% energy consumed compared to ordinary light bulbs, minimize the labor costs to replace and maintain for all constructions, reduce CO2 emissions, and contribute to protection of the environment.

Besides, this LED light bulb can operate with high efficiency, low generated heat and large light intensity. Its lifespan is 5 times and 35 times than longer than that of compact bulbs and incandescent bulbs respectively. Therefore, the investment on lead wires and the risk of explosion will be eliminated.

The outstanding technological advantage of Binh Minh Led light bulb compared to other products available in the current market is the lighting components integrated in a compact fiber main-board which is simple but no less effective than product of the same category in the world. It makes the price of Binh Minh Led light bulb 5 times cheaper than that of the imported one.

From the success achieved in the researching, manufacturing and producing process of Binh Linh Led light bulbs, ICEVN JSC has received a number of prestigious awards nationally and internationally. Korean Southern University has awarded Dr. Tran Van Tin with Professor Emeritus title as the recognition for his successes and contributions.

It is so meaningful that the team of author and disabled workers of ICEVN has donated 500 first produced bulbs to military officers and citizens in Spratly districts for their production and daily usage.

Thanks to the competitive advantage and superior quality, the Binh Minh Led light bulbs can be widely used in daily life, business production, public lighting, and many other areas. This has brought practical and sustainable values for consumers as well as the society as a whole.
