Professor Tang Thi Chinh and colleagues of the Institute of Environmental Technology - Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology research and produce successfully the Sagi-Bio preparations for help to treatment of organic waste into fertilizer. This is the result of state-level project that was implemented in 2012.
Currently, Sagi Bio preparations were transferred manufacturing technology and applications in fertilizer production plant from sewage of urban building management company in Ha Tinh, help reduce costs, increase performance waste treatment and improve efficiency of production of microbial organic fertilizer.
The preparations use a combination of heat resistant and thermophilic microorganisms, that be selected and determined to be high biological safety level, including 02 groups: 06 bacteria strains and 12 strains of actinomycetes have the ability to synthesize extracellular enzymes ... help accelerate the decomposition of organic wastes such as municipal waste, agricultural residues: straw, animal manure, poultry ... at high temperatures from 55 to 60 ° C, shorten the incubation period from 2 months to 1 month, conversion organic waste into organic fertilizer for production of agriculture, forestry and land improvement.
Preparations have competitive inhibition of nutrient and microbial pathogens and reduce waste generated stench and clean environment.
Sagia -Bio preparations were mixed at the ratio of 1 kg or 1 liter preparations to handle 2-3 tons of organic waste. Compost is made to ensure the prescribed technical standards, high organic content of 20 to 22%, no microbial pathogens and heavy metals.
In addition, preparations are being applied in the of waste treatment and processing plant in VietTri, Phu Tho, Waste Treatment Plant At Dong Xoai, Binh Phuoc ... and many other waste treatment facility, bringing the very positive effect on economic, social and environment.
