mLab project will form an mobile application software laboratory with an open space which allows IT entrepreneurs to interact, work, access to specialized tools, implement solutions, start-up and develop their businesses.
A part from providing necessary infrastructure for deploying and expanding the mobile application, mLab supplies other services such as training and giving certification for mobile application developers, services for testing and certifying the compatibility of the application, organising contests for mobile application, incubating and supporting the development of mobile application enterprises ... The goal of mLab within the first two years will be to create 8-10 successful mobile applications and achieve self-financing.
As part of the program "Creating a sustainable business in the knowledge economy" of the infoDev project, mLab has been conducted in five regions of the world, in which the Alliance led by SHTP was honored to deploy mLab in East Asia.
Mr. Tran Tuan Anh, Director of SHBI said: "This is a very new, interesting and meaningful project. We believe that mLab will generate a powerful boost for the mobile application industry of Vietnam which contributes to the development of knowledge economy and innovation".
