Description: Through the implementation of the project: “Research and designed fabrication of black measuring equipment for radio-photographic film in industry”, the engineers at the Center for Non-Destructive Evaluation, Institute of Vietnam Atomic Energy have successfully made black measuring equipment for radio-photographic film in industry.

Machine’s cases in the form of the  industrial designs which are designed by using 3D software. Computer programs  are written in C language. The electronic parts are designed by the stable passive components with low errors. The equipment was tested in practical showed stable performance, measurement accuracy is 1% or (±)  0,02D; range of black measuring: 0.00 to 4,00D; repeatability of measuring values: ± 0,02D. The equipment  meets ASTM 1079-00 standard for black measuring equipment  in industry. In particular, by succeessfully domestic manufacturing of black measuring equipment in industry, the price of the equipment is only 60% compared to the price of the imported ones.
