With the model “Green solid waste incineration”, two students Nguyen Nhat Minh of the class 10T2 and Do Phuc Nhi Khang of grade nine at Junior & Senior High School Huyen Hoi (Huyen Hoi Commune, Cang Long District, Tra Vinh) greatly won the first prize at Tra Vinh Creative Contest For Kid & Teen - third season, organized by Department of Science – Technology, Youth Union, Department of Education – Training and Union of Scientific and Technical Associations.
The incinerator of Minh and Khang has a height of 2.2 meters, a length of 1.8 meters and a width of 1.4 meters. When operating, it gets the productivity of 0.2 cubic meters per hour, humidity 80%. The production cost is quite low, from 14 – 25 million VND per incinerator. In case of serving around 500 households, then after 9-15 months, we can redeem capital. For the markets with 200 households and traders, it takes 5-10 months to get back the initial capital. Besides, this incinerator helps to reduce harmful emission and lower labor supply, time and costs...
