The World Environment Day is a global event on the environment which is annually held all over the world on 5 June.
 In Quang Ngai, different activities will be organized to raise people’s awareness of the benefits of environmental protection as well as problems resulted from climate change that the human beings are facing.
 Specific activities to be performed are strengthening propaganda campaigns on laws of environment protection and biological diversity, afforestation and forest protection, mobilising the masses to take part in prevention and control over forest fire, encouraging people to reduce the use of non-renewable natural resources, voluntarily join available environment protection programs held by local authorities, unions and associations, etc.
In addition, an Anniversary Meeting on the Global Environment Day is scheduled to be held by the PPC at the 11 March Square in the mountainous district of Ba To on the morning of June 04, 2011.
