HCMC to invest in five waste treatment projects 11:20 AM,5/21/2013
Of these, two will be mud waste treatment plants at the Da Phuoc waste treatment complex in Binh Chanh District, with total treatment capacity of 4,000-5,000 cubic meters a day.
Three toxic and industrial waste treatment plants with total capacity of 300-500 tons a day will be constructed in Phuoc Hiep waste treatment plant in Cu Chi District.
At present, HCMC has one plant to treat cesspit waste with total capacity of 100-150 cubic meters a day, a toxic waste treatment plant in Dong Thanh Commune in Hoc Mon District and some private treatment units running on outdated technology.
