Rice husk processing technology line is a combination of the highest advances in mechanics, electronics, automation, materials, chemistry and physics. The essence of this technology is to make the endless length wooden bar from shredded particles of cellulose pulp derived from rice husk. In the world, Wood Plastics Composite technology is common but is still quite new in Vietnam. Produce wood from rice husk has been cherished for a long time and successfully researched from 2005 - 2007, is initially applied and put into production in 2010 to have environmentally friendly wood products.

With the advanced features such as high mechanical strength, waterproof, withstand harsh weather conditions, wood from husk can be used as well as outdoor furniture, tables, chairs, beds, cupboards, floor square, walkways in the park, roof tile replacement,... Wood from husk is also used to manufacture luxury furniture because of ability of integrating perfume product like incense. It can be said that wood from husk is 5 in 1 technology: high scientific content, great value, to bring new jobs, high export value, and environmental protection. If it is invested properly, the minor product of the rice will be turned into major products to improve the economic value of rice, make rural environment healthy, create more jobs, and raise farmers’ incomes.
