 STM01 Software built by Tran Trong Vinh and his colleagues have many outstanding features: Integration of Vietnam vehicles recognition technology with an accuracy of over 95% recognition, fast identification time from 20-50ms with 480x640 pixel image, so it can catch violation even when the car’s speed is 120km/h. Identify all types of vehicles number plate in Vietnam according to format and characters.             

Additionally, the product integrates image analysis technology to detect green light, red light in application management and monitoring the red light violation; motion detection technology, search technology, flexible and optimal collation in application of black list number plate detection, applications that require the identitification accuracy greater than 98.5%. 

To facilitate the processing of information, the web server technology also enables search, set reports, print the minutes, check the operation of the system easier… through the LAN or Internet and communication mechanisms Client-Server, allows software handshake, communicate, bilaterally send information with many different software.                 With preeminent and outstdangding features, STM01 achieved Sao Khue 2011 Prize for new preeminent software and Vietnam Vifotec Award in 2011, meets the criteria set out by the Ministry of Public Security and have practical application in the Rach Gia City - Kien Giang Province  

This system has been used at Big C Parking in Hai Phong and Hai Duong, Huu Nghi Border Gate Park - Lang Son, Vincom Tower, Grand Plaza Hotel, Hang Da Trade Center, Metro Thang Long… It is been able to say, this is useful technologies should be more widely deployed to contribute to ensuring social security and raise the consciousness of people in traffic.
