-         Description of technology and equipment: 

This equipment includes jute keeping roller, sea grass pressing table, motor, speed regulator… The frame is made of wood to reduce noise and vibration when machine operates. An electric motor of 1.1 KW is attached to this mat weaving machine.

Within 8 hours, about 12-13 mats are weaved, 6 times more than manual weaving. The price of this weaving machine is about 10 million VND.

Two authors had sent the record of their mat weaving machine to Thanh Hoa Departmant of Science and Technology for the registration of patents.

After making the medium size mat weaving machine, two farmers had successfully fabricated the large size mat weaving machine (1.5 meter width) and continuous weaving machine that can automatically swirl and release mats (like cloth weaving machine) with the price of over 10 million VND. This is the first appearance on the market of large size mat weaving machine with high productivity.
