Bac Kan actively respond to climate change through energy-saving activities 11:18 AM,8/12/2014

In recent years, the demand for energy in Bac Kan Province increased significantly. The reason is due to increased population, improved life should the need to use electrical appliances such as air conditioner, refrigerator, television, washing machine ... increase. In addition, the emergence of the industrial plant operators, mineral processing in the province also consumes a lot of energy in operation.
Energy use is one of the causes of climate change. To deal with this problem, Bac Kan paid much attention to the implementation of energy-saving activities.
Bac Kan province electricity industry has actively coordinated with television and radio, Bac Kan, Bac Kan newspaper propaganda, many popular energy-saving measures to the people. Many fans of active posters also are posted in public places or sending messages directly to the customers who use more electricity.
Agencies and units in the province are encouraged to limit the use of water heaters, air conditioners and lights when not needed. The investment divisions are separate electric meters and perform electrical contracting, prescribe the use of electricity. The officers and employees are also the thorough communication on the use of energy saving and efficiency.
For families, people are mobilizing to buy and use the device that is labeled as energy compact fluorescent light, energy saving light, hot water heater solar ... In particular, the work of power saving has been associated with the roles and responsibilities of the committees, governments, political institutions and social practices in order to save power on the effective management areas.
In particular, the emulation program "Family save power" is one of those programs get more positive results. In 2013, more than 700 households in Bac Kan Town program participants have saved more than 40 thousand kWh of electricity, equivalent to nearly 60 million.
With the solution was implemented, in recent years, Bac Kan average savings of 2 million kWh from 1.8. In July 7/2014, the People's Committee of Bac Kan province approved the program uses energy saving and efficiency in Bac Kan province 2014 period - 2015 Our goal is that by 2015, the province savings from 5% - 8% of total energy consumption compared with current forecasts.
To do this well, Bac Kan province will actively strengthen propaganda; the growing popularity of high-performance equipment, energy saving, gradually remove low-performing equipment. At the same time, use of energy saving and efficiency in buildings and state government offices and transportation industry.
