Afternoon 7- 10 hourly Vietnam Academy of Science and the Royal Swedish honored two scientists Isamu Akasaki Japan, Hiroshi Amano and American scientists Shuji Nakamura Nobel Prize in Physics in 2014 with the release intelligent LED.

Before that, mankind has created LED lights in red, green, but can not create a blue LED bulbs. It was not until the 1990s, three new research breakthroughs and create blue LEDs, using key material is gallium nitride crystals.

Their inventions have changed the lighting technology, paving the way for the LED bulbs are going to dominate the lighting operation in the world. Prior LEDs, people mostly use incandescent bulbs invented by Thomas Edison. However, incandescent bulbs are not appreciative of the energy savings, because most of the energy is wasted as heat.

Then fluorescent lamps helped launch 4 times more efficient than incandescent bulbs and emit more intense light. However, LEDs are more efficient incandescent bulbs up to 20 times more durable and produce light much stronger.

With these advantages, LEDs are used more for street lights, traffic lights, flashlights, car lights and the dropping costs down, this lamp has appeared in the family office. LED lights are great impetus in the field of electronics, while providing light for computer monitors, phones, tablets and TVs.

Swedish Nobel Committee has commented on the invention of the 3 LEDs scientists: "They have created a revolution. They have succeeded while others failed. Incandescent bulbs lit the 20th century, and the 21st century will be lit by LED bulbs. "

LEDs promises to improve the quality of life for more than 1.5 billion people worldwide, who are suffering from power shortages. In addition, LED lights also help saving the fossil fuels are being depleted worldwide. Because, 25% of the energy consumed worldwide is used for porch lighting purposes.
