In the framework of the Ministry of Health’s program about taking care of diabetes people in the 2013-2015 period, a two day training course was launched on November 1 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The program supported by Novo Pharma Operation A/S aims to provide professional skills to lecturers and doctors. Each course receives 75 students who are endocrine doctors, practitioners and specialists. It includes experience exchanges and discussions.

The course on the other hand is to  raise the community’s understanding of diabetes, increase the number of trained medical workers on diabetes, supply information about diabetes to pregnant women and children.

It is hoped that students will have a deep understanding of the disease and patients’ psychophysiology after two day course.

The Ministry of Health, the Vietnam Endocrinology and Diabetes Association and the Steno Diabetes Center will grant certificates for attendances.

In next time, there will be a consultation festival to provide examination to diabetes sufferers in Hanoi in two days starting November 13 and 14.
