Topic: new technological solutions in manufacturing glass and construction materials for decorating.

With the trend of economy growth, the demand and the living standard of people had a lot of changes; in which decorating and beautifying the workplace, showroom, house ... are ones of the indispensable demands.

On the other hand, the requirement of texture of the details is increasingly complicated and the requirement of quality is higher. Furthermore, the economic- technical efficiency in processing new materials such as glass and construction materials for decorating is also the top priorities. Whilst the traditional methods do not meet the demand for processing these materials.

Therefore, we need new technology solutions in manufacturing glass and construction materials for decorating in order to save time and labor as well as ensure safety for workers.

Nowadays, the safety glasses are widely used in construction and architecture. It has 3 layers including two layers of glass and one layer of film in the middle to ensure safety when it is broken. Cutting glass safely by the traditional methods consumes a lot of time, the workers have to flip the heavy glasses to cut both sides of glass leading to productivity and efficiency is low.

Vu Hoang Son invented the semi-automatic safety glass cutter. His great idea is that the knife can cut both sides of the glass without flipping the glass and productivity and safety are also improved.

This glass cutter can cut both the top and bottom sides of the glass at the same time. There are some different features such as the table is made of a system of the solid steel frames and multidirectional rollers are mounted on the surface of the table with the distance between the rollers is 20cm; two orientation rails parallel a surface of the machine’s table and parallel two opposite sides of the table, the distance from the slot to the table is 15cm high;

both upper and lower cutters are mounted two rollers running on two orientation rails; two knives and two blades in a circle shape of 4mm diameter are mounted the cutters; a chain and pulley system and the cables that motion from the motor to move the blades and roots; two switches make the process of reversing motor and stopping the motor in turn in each cut.
