Previously, in order to transport supplies and materials in the pits to serve the tunneling, mining ..., enterprises belong to Vietnam National Coal – Minerals Industries Holding Corporation Limited usually transport in the forms of : Monorail (Monorail train system); wagon (running on rail) ... or even manual carrying. However, the form of monorail is most expenditure of money caused large investment in lines and equipments; If  transportation by wagon or manually are appllied, it is low yields and requires more labors.

To solve this situation, engineers Dao Ngoc Thao, Deputy Head of Mine Engineering Technology, Uong Bi Coal company and his colleagues have studied, designed and successfully manufactured a transporting system of supplies and materials by cable pulley used for plane tunnel.

The equipment has been tested in the oven number 1 at the grade of minus 30, seam number 1 (36), South East (Project of Trang Bach mine). It helps improve capacity of supplies and materials transportation; reduce cost in processing, fabrication, installation and transportation; increase productivity, improve working conditions and safety for employees.
