Description: Hoang Dien and his colleagues have created "Multifunctional devices used in aquaculture and catching fisheries." The device can be used to renovate the breeding pond before breeding tiny fish or harvest the species living in the bottom of the ponds or in the tidal flats such as molluscas: clams, oysters, snails ..., or to level this species more sparse in the process of breeding.

- Equipment is operated under the principle of pushed pumping. The equipment  includes: float rig, generator or motor, pump, turbin, pipeline and collecting parts include scaffolding frames, pressed compressor is fixed inside the scaffolding frames and collecting net. When operating, the compressor head strongly sprays of water to the pond’s bottom enable snail lives in the bottom loosing and being pushed into the collecting net.

- Some years ago farmers have to exhaust water out of the ponds when harvesting then collecting snails by manually digging  and picking up snail. This way reduces quality of snail. After one night working of about 40 peoples, there is only 300-400 kg of snaills be collected.

- By using Hoang Dien’s equipment, just a few people be required to control the machine, without draining off the water, not to be depended on weather, can  harvest 2 tons of snail per day, making the collecting rate of 99%. Moreover, the efficient of pond’s bottom cleaning is high then it makes the period of time of snail breeding may be lasted from 8 months to 1 year; so the productivity of snail production is higher and food coefficient using for snail breeding is lower 1.5 to 1.8 times than before.

- The Intellectual Property Office  has provided the patent for utility solution for the equipment thanks to its practicality and potential invention in 2013 and many more awards has been presented for equipment .
