They are folded underneath the seat pan and can be used to support the seat when the seat back is reclining. Thanks to the safe lock braking structure, when the legs are unopened, we cannot adjust the backrest. If the backrest is in reclined position, these legs cannot be folded.

Besides, with the aim of making users’ legs be laid in a more relaxed posture, the inventor designed a leg-support part that extends from the seat pan. When not in use, this part is pushed back to the seat pan neatly and it does not affect the aesthetics of the chair.
