The meeting in respond to the world environment day (June 5) was taken place in HCMC by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the city’s district 3’s People’s Committee.

Deputy Chairman of District 3 of People’s Committee Tran Thanh Binh said the 2016 world environment day with its slogan “Nature’s call & our actions” aims to send message to mankind about changing the behavior of environmental protection, preventing the strain on planet earth’s natural systems from reaching breaking point.

Under program, there are four action programs including mobilizing residents to save power, water; limiting to use nylon bags; being not pour wastewater & garbage into the street; plannting green trees and strengthening the inspection to the violations of the environment law; fighting against illegal trade in wildlife and improving public awareness in the environmental issues…
