This product is of the project “Research on designing and manufacturing 50 Hz/400 Hz 3-phase frequency transforming power source with high capacity used for civil airports in Vietnam” (code KC03.17/11-15), directed by Assoc. Prof., Dr. Nguyen Van Nho, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam National University.

This equipment is designed under the form of power cabinet, which has electrostatic powder coating, 4 moveable wheels which can easily displace on the ground. The power source can be connected to 50 Hz/400 Hz 90 kVA 3-phase power source. The power source output forms the voltage of 200 V/400 Hz with 3-phase 4-wire type, insulated with 50 Hz power source input. The control panel in front of the cabinet enables to operate starting and interrupting in emergency, has display buttons showing the operation status of the power source. In addition, the digital display measurement tool helps to follow up on the status of the output such as: voltage, frequency, current and other factors.

This equipment was tested with variable load at A41 Factory, Department of Technology, The Air Defence - Air Force and was inspected and appraised the quality that fulfilled requirements by Quality Assurance And Testing Center II, Directorate For Standards, Metrology And Quality (Ministry Of National Defence).
