Scientists from FC Hoa Lac Technologies Company Limited have successfully studied and manufactured subzero machining equipment for thermal treatment of mechanical products. This product is of the national science and technology project “Research on applying and developing mechanical and automatic technology” (code KC03/11-15).

The equipment has the following specifications: the ability to reach a maximum negative temperature: -196oC; the ability to reach positive temperature: +200oC; temperature deviation in the furnace (the uniformity of temperature in the furnace): ±3oC; cooling speed: 0-50oC/min; dimensions inside the furnace: 500x900x500 mm; the maximum weight of processed products: 500 kg; the mechanism and control software: PAC. Successfulness in manufacturing this equipment shows local scientists can master device fabrication technologies used in thermal treatment of precise mechanical instruments with high wear resistance and good strength and toughness.
