Dew spraying nozzle based on the principle of foaming in building stone processing

Dr. Nguyen Thang Loi and his colleagues at the National Working Environment Monitoring Station (National Institute of Labour Protection) have designed and manufactured successfully the dew spraying nozzlebased on the principle of foaming in building stone processing.

The dew spraying nozzlebased on the principle of foaming designed and built by the research group has the main technical parameters in accordance with previous studies in the world, better quality compared with existing products available on the market, and fully meets the requirements of controlling dust in construction stone mining and processing.

The research group has conducted empirical tests in many different working modes in terms of air pressure P, air flow QG, water flow Q¬L. In each working mode, the group has carried out observations, taken notes and compared the parameters such as Sauter mean diameter of the dew, cone angle and the maximum length of the dew flow. The results of applying this dew spraying nozzle have shown the dust suppression efficiency of 89.7%, the concentration of dust at the working position decreased by 48.3%.
