Scientists at the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering (Ministry of Industry and Trade) have researched and manufactured successfully the low temperature plasma nitriding equipmentfor applications in mechanical engineering, tool and mold.

  The equipment is a product of the key state-level science and technology project "Research, design and manufacture of low temperature plasma nitriding equipment applied in mechanical engineering, tool and mold", under the state-level key science and technology program KC03/11-15. The equipment has the specifications as follows: penetration chamber size 1.200x2.000 mm; power 100 kW (plasma and heating resistors); vacuum pumping capacity of 80 m3/h; pressure unit <0.1 mbar.
