A group of 19 student from Hanoi Amsterdam High School are in Israel to take part in a special robotics and startup programme built especially for them in HaKfar HaYarok High School in Tel Aviv from August 2-11.

The first joint project is held by the Embassy of Israel in Vietnam in co-operation with the two high schools.

During their ten day study trip to the Green Blitz Robotics Centre and Green Star Startup Centre, the students will attend seminars, lectures and interactions with students, teachers and mentors from all over the world on robotics and startups.

This is the first time that Green Blitz has co-operated with a foreign group and they chose the Vietnamese partners as pioneers thanks to Vietnam’s potential in the fields of technology, science, robotics and entrepreneurship.

After returning to Vietnam, the students will be pioneers in establishing chains of robotics and startups centres in the country, and technological and industrial leaders in near future.

Deputy Chief of Mission Lee Singer Snir of the Embassy of Israel to Vietnam - the key organiser - said that the main goal of the project is to contribute to promoting the startup ecosystem in Vietnam, adding that by investing in young and talented students, the two would work on a broader chain of robotics and startup centres across Vietnam.
