The engineer of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), United States created the prototype of a portable device that allows users to stand on one side and track anything moving on the other side wall.

Unique device called Wi-Vi will show users any person or object that moves closer or away from the wall. As engineers create Wi-Vi, it can "catch" the very small movements.
The author of said devices, Wi-Vi works by emitting signals into a Wi-Fi wall. A portion of this signal through walls, mirror on the wall on the other side then back to the device. Wi-Vi will emit two inverse signals together.

If both signals and to a stationary object, or objects such as walls themselves, they will cancel each other out. However, if we "and" in the subject movement, the situation will not happen eliminated and the movement will be shown on the screen of the device Wi-Vi.

When Wi-Vi detect a moving object, it will easily stick to this person and ignore all the others stood around him. The authors also confirmed that their devices can "track" more than one person at the same time. In the experiments performed, the authors show that Wi-Vi can stick motion of 3 people.

The researchers said that devices such as Wi-Vi can help police officers and rescue workers found the hiding or people trapped in the rubble. Due to the motion capture, Wi-Vi can also be integrated into the control system lights or other devices to manipulate the movement of the arm.

The authors said they will present their inventions at a conference organized by the American Association of Computers. "We wanted to create a device with low power, portable and simple to everyone can use," said Dina Katabi, who led the authors built Wi-Vi said.
