- Description of technology and equipment:

The first step of making mushroom packaging is finding agricultural waste such as rice shell, bagasse, sawdust, cotton shell ... then crushing and mixing them together. After that is autoclave stertilization and pouring into a mold shaped by demand. Finally is to implant filaments. Mecylium fibers (seen as the root of the mushroom) grows around and cover the entire material. The combination of of mecylium fibers will form the kitin polymer system for tight binding of the materials. Within 5 days, organic packing will be formed automatically.

The whole process of making organic packaging is low cost for machinery, low energy consumption and low cost of production. Meanwhile, the production of white foam needs oil to produce EPS resin. At high temperatures, EPS beads that are blown into the desired shape will require a lot of energy. Some appliances such as television, refrigerator ... required the white foam blocks about 2kg to pack, equivalent to 2 liter petrol.
