Biochar patent using for fertilizer

 Solutions utilize renewable surplus materials in agricultural products into environmental useful products.

Viet Nam is one of the nation's leading agricultural exporters in the world. Thus, the amount of waste and residues from agriculture such as rice husk, rice straw, bagasse, corn cobs  reachs 10 millions of tons in each year.  These waste products that, if we take advantage will become a source of extremely useful fuel. When we take advantage of the agricultural waste to produce useful products, environmental friendliness will reduce greenhouse gas emissions caused by the combustion of agricultural waste products cause.

Therefore, the solution which taking advantage of renewable surplus materials in argricultural products into useful products, environmentally friendliness is really needed in this present life.

In many developed countries, biological coal is used as energy, fuel instead of coal and oil which are at risk of depletion or material handling contaminated water sources, water heavy metal contamination.

Besides, the above application capabilities, biochar can be used to fertilize the soil to improve nutrient for plant digestion, increase nutrient retention, water retention and improve soil structure, increasing fixed carbon in the environment.

Using straw, wood, corn cobs, rice husk to put into biochar DK - TR1 oven or improved stoves DK - T2 and bake under a temperature of about 500 to 600oC. In anaerobic conditions without oxygen and high pressure conditions, biomass carbon has not burnt all that has been in between the mineral and organic forms. The smoke emitted from the incinerator is only water vapor (is not CO2), so it is not harmful to the environment. After a few hours, this biomass will turn into charcoal that farmers can use field fertilizer for crops.

In humid tropical climates in Vietnam, biochar which has a slow decomposition rate will slow down the process of land degradation, anti-fading, reduce acidity, increased fertilizer use efficiency by a factor of 2 to 3 times

In the near future, this model of produced biochar will be widely deployed in many other localities in the country.
