"Smart clothes lines" model consists of 5 main parts, namely:
1. Power (intergrated from two sources: dry battery (cell) and 12V power supply from the transformer).
2. Electric panels to help detect when it rains (made from plastic with conductive surfaces, with many small incisions).
3. Motor is used to pull the clothesline.
4. 3 large transistors power obtained from the electronic circuit board.
5. Optical sensor with resistive changes according to the light intensity for switching relay, the current through the motor to pull the clothesline activities go on after dark.
Operational mechanism of this solution is very simple, it can be controlled manually or automatically. With two basic operating principles:
Principle for Automatic clothes pull in: when it rains, the rain water will fall into contact panels, acting as a conductor but it is very small electrical current through the circuit should be collected and included 3 transistor amplifier create larger currents, activate motor activity and collect clothes on. When it gets dark (no sunlight) , the optical sensor circuit will receive the signal and send to the control box, closes relay, close circuit and motor will move, pull clothes in.
Principle for automatic clothes pull out: Contact panels will be installed inclined so when it stopped raining, the rain water will flow out. When contact panels is dry, it dont conduct electricity, electric relay is released and motor automatically put the clothes out. Similarly, when it is sunshine, light sensors prevent electric current go through, electric relays is released and motors also automatically put clothes out.
Solution "smart clothes line" of Le Ngoc Tu was appreciated and chose to participate in the contest for creative young children nationwide by The board of Jury for 3rd Creative contest for teenagers and children
