Investment in renewable energy is beginning to develop a rapid pace, according to a new report from Bloomberg New Energy Finance. The report emphasizes investment in the clean energy sector on a quarterly basis. This investment is an indication of the overall support for the clean energy sector worldwide and often shows new energy projects have completed or still unfinished.
As reported by Bloomberg, investment in clean energy rose 33% in the second quarter of this year. This is a significant increase and it may be due to the introduction of new energy projects on a large scale throughout the world. The report noted that the total investment in the second quarter to reach 63.6 billion dollars and most of this money is aimed at ambitious projects in the country are active in renewable energy issues.
Projects such as offshore wind farms in the Netherlands Gemini or wind farms Venitka Cemex in Mexico are examples of ambitious projects are beginning to attract the attention of investors. These projects are large scale and use of new technologies to increase competitiveness in comparison with competitors elsewhere in the world.
The similar projects focusing on solar power and start getting strong support from investors and this trend will continue in the future.
Although renewable energy start getting more financial support than in recent years, there are still many factors that influence the decision to invest in the project.
Clean energy is often dominated by the sudden political ideas and projects need to rely on the support of government incentives. Sometimes, these incentives can be cut, making the project more difficult to attract investment.
