Health Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien proposed chairpersons of people’s committees and leaders of departments of health to be ready for healthcare tasks on the national holidays.

Medical clinics nationwide have to arrange personnel to work around the clock and equipment for treating diseases, especially Ebola virus disease as per the government’s decree.

Hospitals must prepare enough medicines and equipment for treating traffic accident victims and food poisoning. Medical workers are not allowed to refuse to provide treatment to emergency cases or be tardy for treating patients in critical condition.

Medical staffs have to pay attention to their behaviors and manners in contacting with patients or patients' relatives. They must bahave following the sector's codes of etiquette.
