With the aim of raising awareness of the community in changing incandescent bulbs to energy saving light bulbs in indoor lighting in rural areas, August 28, 2014, the Management Board Eliminate Project incandescent bulbs through the switch lighting market in Vietnam has organized training courses and ceremony energy saving light bulb for 2 and Lai Xuan Dai Dong, Tan Son district, Phu Tho Province.

At the ceremony energy saving light bulbs, TS. Nguyen Trung Thang, Project Director, Institute for Strategy and Policy on Natural Resources and Environment has awarded 4,280 bulbs to 2,140 households and 160 bulbs for offices or culture, school 2 communes.

In parallel with this activity, the project also supports organized 2 workshops for key employees to switch incandescent bulbs to energy-saving light bulb for 2 Lai Ming Dong and Dai commune with more than 100 school member. The content of the training was to bring knowledge about environmental protection, climate change and energy savings for students is key officials of the participating local pilot activities. After the training, the knowledge gained will be student advocacy organization for people of the two communes.

Attended and spoke at the ceremony and training bulbs, TS. Nguyen Trung Thang, director of the project, has appreciated the cooperation of the district People's Committee of Tan painted in implementing this activity. TS. Nguyen Trung Thang also stressed the importance of the transformation of the bulbs save energy and costs in family relationship between chuye // n change bulbs to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, adaptation climate change.

On behalf of the People's Committee of Tan Son district, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Son, Head of Infrastructure Economics, appreciated the activities of the local project, the importance of pilot operation for the transformation of human perception people about energy saving and incandescent bulbs convert to energy saving light bulbs.
